Cascade Pacific is part of a nationwide network of not-for-profit Resource Conservation and Development Areas (RC&Ds). This national program was established within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) over 40 years ago to empower rural people and communities.
Cascade Pacific RC&D serves six counties in Oregon: Benton, Lane, Linn, Lincoln, Marion and Polk Counties.
Our mission is to work with citizens of rural communities to enhance their quality of life through social, economic, and environmental improvements.
We were one of the first ten RC&Ds established in the nation. Now there are 375 RC&Ds nationwide that help solve community problems by bringing partners together to accomplish conservation and community development projects.
Through RC&Ds, diverse groups of local volunteers carry out activities that lead to sustainable communities, prudent land use and the conservation of natural resources.
Cascade Pacific is uniquely positioned to respond to the needs of rural communities through regional projects. Our rich experience in resource conservation, unique perspective, and innovative approach allows us to develop these projects and foster partnerships.
Cascade Pacific RC&D is guided by its Board of Directors, with technical assistance provided by the RC&D Coordinator and program support by staff members.

Our Conflict of Interest policy
"Council Members and Committee Members will avoid conflict of interest, or even the appearance of such, but despite such precaution, promptly disclose to the board or council when such a matter before it could be perceived to be in conflict with something [in which] the member is financially or otherwise involved."
