Forest Stewardship

Cascade Pacific facilitates forest stewardship in partnership with the Siuslaw National Forest (SNF) and the Willamette National Forest (WNF). The SNF forest stewardship efforts are implemented through the Siuslaw Collaborative Watershed Restoration Program supports watershed restoration projects in the Alsea, Hebo, Marys Peak, Siuslaw and Smith River-Umpqua-Dunes Stewardship Group areas. The WNF forest stewardship efforts are implemented through the McKenzie Stewardship Group.

Watershed Councils, Soil & Water Conservation Districts, Tribes, non-profit groups and other partners collaborate on forest restoration efforts on both the SNF and WNF and surrounding lands. CPRCD manages the stewardship funds (retained receipts of the stewardship timber sales on each forest) utilized to implement  forest and watershed restoration projects that support forest health and local communities.
