Cascade Pacific Resource, Conservation & Development is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1989 as part of a national network of RC&D Councils to support local communities. For over 25 years we have been supporting grassroots, community-driven projects in the Willamette Valley and across the state.
To work with people to enhance their communities through social, economic, educational, and environmental improvements.
CPRC&D Programs & Projects
Cascade Pacific hosts, facilitates and manages programs, projects and partnerships that support our mission. Our programs and projects focus on:
- providing fiscal sponsorship and fiscal administration services for groups and organizations that allows them to focus on expanding their capacity, attract funding, and accomplish their work on the ground (Fiscal Sponsorship);
- supporting local forest stewardship through collaborative restoration projects that improve water quality and enhance fish and wildlife habitat (Forest Stewardship);
- coordinating working groups of natural resource professionals to develop collaborative responses to invasive weeds (Western Invasives Network);
- improving the health and well-being of youth, families, farms, and the environment by supporting Oregon farm to school and school garden stakeholders in their work to incorporate healthy, local food into school meals and implement food and garden-based education Oregon Farm to School and School Garden Network (OFSSGN).
